This project uses acrylic and oil paint on a large scale to explore emotion through the human form. Rather than pursuing realism, these works prioritise intensity, distortion, and atmosphere. Faces and figures become vehicles for raw, sometimes unsettling emotion, allowing colour and gesture to communicate psychological states. Abstracted Figures embraces discomfort and vulnerability as powerful tools for expression.
