Working primarily in pencil and pen, Anatomical Studies is informed by classical anatomical illustration, particularly the work of Leonardo da Vinci, and by my background as a scientist. These drawings range from small studies to large-scale works and focus on precision, structure, and careful observation. Through meticulous mark-making, this project aims to communicate both the complexity and the inherent beauty of the human body, balancing scientific accuracy with artistic sensitivity.
